NeonPanel Finds Catenary Cloud Consulting Through AWS IQ and Revamps ERP with AWS CDK
Software development firm NeonPanel was building an enterprise resource planning (ERP) tool specifically for Amazon sellers. To scale the ERP and prep it for the US market, NeonPanel needed to go serverless and simplify Amazon QuickSight updates. Through AWS IQ the company partnered with Catenary Cloud Consultancy, which created a production environment that aligns with the AWS Well-Architected Framework. Using the AWS Cloud Development Kit (AWS CDK), the NeonPanel team can now make changes, update tools, and perform deployments with ease and confidence.
Reimagining Analytics with a Cloud-Native Approach
After growing 12 brands as an Amazon seller, Mykhailo Sorochev decided to develop the ERP known as NeonPanel, which automates and integrates accounting, inventory, and expense management into one solution for Amazon sellers.
Initially, NeonPanel developed its ERP using a legacy MySQL framework, which made it challenging to update and deploy resources across multiple AWS accounts. The ERP pulled data from Amazon Seller Central, stored it in a database, then consolidated it in Amazon QuickSight. “It was a labor intensive and inefficient process,” says Sorochev, the CEO and co-founder of NeonPanel. “We really needed to transition toward a highly scalable, serverless production environment.”
That’s when NeonPanel decided to look for an AWS Partner that had deep development knowledge who could help mature its ERP. Through AWS IQ, a service that connects customers with AWS Certified experts, NeonPanel found Catenary Cloud Consultancy.

Going Scalable and Serverless with AWS CDK and Amazon Athena
To set the foundation, Catenary Cloud helped NeonPanel revamp its production environment to enable ERP scale for up to 1,000 users. Leveraging AWS CDK, the NeonPanel team could update Amazon QuickSight across multiple accounts, design QuickSight dashboards visually, and roll out changes in an automated way via their new continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline. Catenary Cloud also helped transition the ERP from a legacy data warehouse in MySQL to a serverless architecture using Amazon Athena and AWS Glue.

With this robust foundation established, NeonPanel successfully expedited Amazon QuickSight updates, reducing a process from days to mere minutes. Today, NeonPanel’s cloud-based ERP delivers embedded business intelligence and analytics to Amazon sellers via more reliable, accurate, and efficient processes that are fully managed by code.
