Owning 13 (thirteen) AWS Certificates (and growing) allows me to analyze business needs while balancing cost, resilience, performance, DevOps automation, database functionalities, ease of development / maintenance, advanced networking and security. Having been on the forefront of Big Data, Analytics, Database Solutions, Machine Learning and AI since 2005, My wide range of expertise always leads to optimal, tailored solutions for businesses big and small, covering a variety of traditional and trending industries.

After earning a PhD in Computer Science, I was hired by Google Inc and worked there for 10 years. As Senior Software Engineer, I experienced the evolution of Big Data in the Search Quality and Infrastructure Team, helped make Chrome Browser’s graphics engine run faster, and was one of the first Android Pioneers helping to debut the mobile operating system in 2007.

Since 2015, I have been a Senior Manager of Data Science at a major US bank, helping the bank go all in on AWS. In the Innovation Data Labs and US Credit Card Data Science teams, I’ve architected Big Data, Database and Analytics solutions using all types of AWS services, including Lambda for serverless scalable automation, CodeDeploy / CodePipeline for CI/CD, DataMart and Data Pipelines using Redshift / Snowflake along with S3 and on-prem migration, RDS for service backend database, and third-party integrations such as Databricks and the InfluxDB/Grafana time series data systems for automation and alerting. I’ve utilized AWS Kinesis for real-time data streaming, AWS Elasticsearch Service for system monitoring, and AWS Sagemaker and EC2-based data and finance modeling pipelines. My team is also the first in piloting the prototype of the company’s Enterprise Machine Learning Platform, for which I’ve been involved in evaluation and improvements.

Being in the financial industry dealing with a ton of regulations, my solutions always have strong bindings with highest security, privacy and compliance standards.

I am available for architecting consultations for laying out and analyzing tradeoffs among solutions, and picking the ones based on business needs. My independent advice will be the key to making sound cloud architecture decisions, which are the crucial factor in the success of business ideas and execution.
