I help startups with cloud infrastructure and security.

My expertise in IT infrastructure with an emphasis on networking at scale extends back to 1997. I have been working with AWS since 2012.

Here are examples of specific services I offer.

• VPC design - Determine the number of VPCs, account separation, how to combine AWS services to deliver fault tolerant and highly available solutions

• VPC networking - Interconnecting VPCs and VPC to your on-premises sites can be challenging at scale. I can help you effectively use VPC networking components such as VPC peering, Transit Gateway, and DirectConnect.

• Infrastructure-as-Code - Delivering secure and flexible architectures manually is challenging and error-prone. I can codify your infrastructure using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.

• Security/Compliance - Security breaches can destroy your company's reputation that you've worked so hard to build. I can explain AWS security & compliance services fit together. Examples include AWS Inspector, GuardDuty, AWS Config, and Security Hub. I have substantial experience with 3rd party security/compliance tools such as Palo Alto's Prisma Cloud.
