I am a technology and financial services professional with 18 years of experience in delivering software and consulting to financial services and banking clients. I have ten years of experience with Amazon Web Services leveraging the scale, security, and agility of the cloud. I have been certified as an AWS Solutions Architect for six years, the last four at the Professional level.

I am experienced in many AWS technologies, including CloudFormation, EC2, RDS, Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodeCommit, API Gateway, CloudFront, AWS Amplify, Glue, Athena.

I am also an experienced full stack developer, and my go-to stack includes AWS Amplify, React, Node.js, DynamoDB, and Cognito.

  • Wrote custom Excel parser in Python and deployed using AWS Lambda, triggered from S3 object creation

  • Assisted a startup in configuring an Amazon FSx fileshare for and AppStream service

  • Designed and implemented a cloud architecture to transition a product from in-house software delivery with upfront licensing to software as a service with recurring revenue

  • Ensured that the security design of the system exceeds the requirements for Financial Services and Banking clients

  • Created fully automated infrastructure deployments using AWS CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, and CloudFormation to reduce client onboarding time by 80% and to eliminate errors in provisioning client environments
