Professional experience

I enjoy designing cloud-native solutions in AWS and writing code in languages such as Python, PL/SQL and Typescript. Read Appsmode's customer story with Gaggle for a practical example.

In AWS, I enjoy building serverless solutions including Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB and relational databases as well as OpenSearch. I implement, customize and support Amazon Connect, including integrating Connect with other systems and platforms such as Twilio. I have extended Connect with features across the voice, SMS and chat channels and integrated Connect and Salesforce - with the Amazon managed package as well as Change Data Capture and Platform Events using Salesforce Event Relay / AWS Event Bus.

In Salesforce, I work with and extend Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Service Cloud Voice.

I design, develop, manage, and implement complex, multi-national enterprise-grade systems and build custom solutions solutions and integrations from the ground up. 

With a 20+ years background in Finance and complex ERP system design, I have delivered solutions with Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle APEX in industries as diverse as Financial Data, Aerospace, Telco and Waste Management.

I enjoy building solutions in the Python ecosystem and have extensive experience with Oracle on a database level - that includes schema design, performance tuning and troubleshooting, and with the Postgres database in the Open Source space.

I strive to learn something new every day and to pass knowledge on.
