Professional experience

I provide high-level AWS services in software development, security from infrastructure to encryption, and architecture solutions.

My objective is to provide high value to all customers through excellent communications, responsiveness, and dedication.

With a Master's Degree in Computer Science, I have performed software development using multiple programming languages for Lockheed-Martin, IBM, Motorola, Citibank, Army Corps of Engineers, and others.

Recent AWS Projects:

  • Deployment, and software enhancement for AWS Textract services for the processing of medical billing invoices. The client needed to automate the processing of billing information which is currently a manual, time consuming, and error-prone process. This application processes PDF, PNG, JPEG files both synchronously and asynchronously, generating a JSON data structure from which data can be extracted and post-processed. The AWS architecture implements, SNS, SQS, Textract, Lambda, DynamoDB, and other services. Lambda functions are built-in python utilizing python AWS SDK library BOTO3.

  • I performed an extensive analysis to understand the current system architecture and computing resources. The objective was to remove a heavy dependency on EC2 instances and non-AWS services. I assisted in the design of an AWS based serverless architecture utilizing S3, Step Functions, Lambda, RDS Databases, Cognito, CloudFront, Amplify, and AppSync. Additionally, for the processing of documents, I recommended AWS Textract and AWS Comprehend to simplify the existing toolset and to standardize on AWS services.

  • AWS DMS (Database Migration Service) Migration of EC2 PostgreSQL database to AWS RDS PostgreSQL database

  • Provided consulting services to help resolve AWS S3 security access issues from a WordPress application. Performed analysis with the client and then provided training on usage of S3 bucket policies. This gave the client enough insight on how to proceed.
